Produktdetails
Joyful Waves is a rectangular shawl in 5 colors, made of colorful ripples and lace sections. The ripple sections alternate one ‘base’, neutral color to 4 other colors, which are also used for each of the lace sections. Both the ripple and the lace sections are easy but never boring to execute, making this shawl a fun and relaxing knit.
The shawl is totally adjustable both in length and in width.
In order to obtain the best results I recommend to use solid or semisolid colors as variegated yarns would hide the lace pattern.
GAUGE 20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4“) in stockinette stitch, blocked.
NEEDLES 3.75 mm / US 5 (4.0 mm / US 6 for bind off) recommended Or size needed to obtain proper gauge.
YARN Malabrigo Arroyo:
2 skeins in color A, 1 skein in each of the other 4 colors For my sample I used 1.2 skeins of color A (366 m / 401 yds) and 0.8 skeins of each of the other 4 colors (244 m / 321 yds each).
