Knitting pattern no. 52 by Pizpaw Patterns.
Jacket/Cardigan with Garter Picot Edging. The pattern includes 2 different sizes.
The first size is to fit a baby 6 to 12 months with a chest size 18 inches/46 cms. The second size is to fit a baby 12 to 24 months old with a chest size 20 inches/51 cms.
The pattern is an easy to knit design on straight needles. The sleeve cuffs have a pretty picot finish. The hem and front edgings are knitted separately as a garter stitch band with picots on either side and sewed to the Jacket after completion.
The pattern uses double-knitting (light worsted) wool and sizes 3.25 mm and 4 mm (US size 3 and 6) straight needles. You will also need 3 press studs (poppers/fasteners) and 3 buttons to fasten the Jacket.
The pink Jacket is knitted using Woolcraft Baby Care DK in candy shade 614 for Main Shade and Robin DK in silver shade 0027 for Contrast Shade.
