Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime Dolls

Reach for the sky with some help from Jack. Taking in a pantomime show is a Christmas tradition for many families, and I have chosen a few of my favourite characters for this year’s Panto season. The cast of this Pantomime includes Jack, Beanstalk, Goose and Golden Eggs, and of course the traditional pantomime cow. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dolls are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The beanstalk’s vines are i-cord tubes which are worked on two DPNs. For confident beginners/intermediate and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short row shaping, knitting stripes, knitting i-cord, and mattress stitch seaming to finish. Heights of each toy are Jack 14.5cm, Goose 7.5cm, Golden Egg 2.5cm, Cow 12cm and Beanstalk 26cm.
