This is a sideways shawl that was inspired by a beautiful skein of [Simple Sock from HauteKnitYarns][1], in colorway Beachy Sky. It was reminded me of being on the beach early in the morning as the sun is coming up and the peaceful roar of the waves coming ashore and the crisp salty smell of the air.
This shawl lends itself to be worn either traditionally or draped in a number of ways around the neck, enhancing any outfit for any occasion.
SHAPE: Crescent
NOTIONS: 2 stitch markers. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
