This suave scarf/wrap that envelops the shoulders - or wind it around your neck for super luxurious softness. Worked in Belinda's alpaca, silk and cashmere yarn.
Inspired by the great Mary Thomas, the great-grandmother of knitting design. She explains in her seminal work (Mary Thomas's Book of Knitting Patterns) how to use pattern motifs as accents. She explains how to construct complicated pattern motifs with moss/seed stitch. I couldn't resist. The construction is worked point to point; casting on one stitch, growing the wrap to the central moss/seed st section and then again working the motif repeat to one st, cast off.
