This quick and easy baby blanket pattern is worked up in a self-striping yarn, but any yarn could be used to crochet this. The finished size is on the small side, but you can increase this in the multiple provided.
Since I used a self-striping yarn, I omitted an edging. However, you can add a single crochet border followed by whatever stitch pattern you have in mind for an edging.
