The Ice Blossom Mosaic Square is a project that uses the overlay mosaic technique, crocheted from the center out. With this technique, you create beautiful patterns and a lovely textured effect by crocheting stitches over each other.
Is mosaic crochet from the center out new to you? No worries. This pattern includes a photo tutorial that explains this mosaic technique step by step. Along with a table, this pattern also contains detailed instructions for all the rounds.
The square I crocheted measures approximately 18 x 18 cm. My square was crocheted with Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 and a 4.5 mm hook. However, the square can be crocheted with any yarn of your choice. Use thinner yarn for a smaller square, or perhaps acrylic for a lovely blanket.
