Hortik

Knit top-down in the round, this round-yoke sweater features stranded colourwork on the yoke, body, and half-sleeves. The mock neck is optional and can be worked immediately or added as an afterthought. The body is slightly cropped with a gentle A-line shape, and the hem and cuffs are finished with 2×2 ribbing.

MC:1 strand and ca. 480 (550, 625, 700, 775) (850, 925, 1000, 1075) m // 525 (602, 684, 766, 848) (930, 1012, 1094, 1176) yds of any DK/light-worsted weight yarn.

CC:1 strand and ca. 280 (325, 365, 400, 435) (475, 510, 550, 585) m // 306 (356, 399, 438, 476) (520, 558, 602, 640) yds of any other similar yarn.

Gauge:

∙ 20 sts & 22 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles measured over colourwork worked in the round after blocking;

∙ 18 sts & 26 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles measured over 2x2 ribbing worked in the round after blocking;

∙ 19 sts & 26 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles measured over 2x1 ribbing worked in the round after blocking
