This bookmark is perfect for using up one little butterfly of embroidery floss. I used La Mia Mercerized Cotton for this one, actually the Mini Mercerized Cotton. You also could use crochet cotton thread held double or triple, or a fingering weight finer DK weight yarn. It does not need to be cotton, that’s just what I chose. Gauge is suggested, but gauge doesn’t really matter for bookmarks! '
I recommend a blocking because the bookmark curls a bit due to stockinette.
