This is a pattern for a shrug worked in the round and flat. Each sleeve is worked individually and the fronts are shaped using German Short Rows, the back panels are grafted, and finally, the buttonband trim is worked in the round. The size may be adjusted for sleeve length, shoulder to shoulder width, and/or the buttonband width (2 lengths are given in pattern) just by adding St st rows.
