I was asked by my grandmother, Helen, to make her a pair of mittens for this past Christmas. I scoured the Internet and Ravelry for the perfect stitch pattern to no avail. I had almost given up hope until I found this wonderful website called Knitting Fool. I stumbled upon this lovely stitch pattern called the Japanese Feather Lace and realized it was absolutely perfect. I have since converted it to be knit in the round and these fingerless mitts were born.
