Hathor is the adult version of the Menet cardigan.
Hathor is a pretty cardigan, knitted seamlessly from the top down with a garter slip stitch yoke and seed / moss stitch edgings.
A simple garter slip stitch pattern adorns the yoke of this pretty cardigan, which looks much harder to knit than it actually is. A mixture of three colours, only one colour is worked at any one time making it ideal for a first colour-work project.
The pattern has two sleeve options included. You can knit a short sleeved version, as in these pictures here for warmer weather, or knit a long sleeved version for those cooler months. The body of Hathor has a gentle waist shaping which gives it a more fitted feel and a feminine shape. As Hathor is knitted from the top down, I have given instructions for adjusting this by trying on your cardigan and positioning the waist to suit. It is also easy to adjust the length of the body and sleeves to your own measurements. The stocking stitch body is edged in moss stitch.
