This shawl features the familiar lace patterns from Haruni combined with unusual construction. It begins in the round, with a beaded leaf cluster at the center back. Each side is then continued to the desired length, before it ends with the iconic leafy border. The length is easy to adjust as desired, and there are also instructions for altering the width. Due to the unique construction you will need a set of 5 double pointed needles as well as a circular needle in the size needed to obtain gauge.
Yardage: 1,000 yards lace weight yarn. Can also be made with fingering weight yarn, as shown in the green shawl. Uses 900 yards of fingering weight yarn for a smaller shawl.
ERRATA: Chart A Overview, (pg 2) the final sentence should read, “Move on to Row 15 of Chart A”
Chart B, Row 9, written directions only, should read “repeat stitches within brackets until 2 before stitch marker, k1, yo, k1”.
Chart D (pgs 8-11) is missing 4 yarn overs in Row 1. They should be in columns 14, 16, 88, and 90.
Chart D, Row 1 has 2 extra yarn overs in columns 51 and 53. These squares should be blank. Written directions are correct.
