Graphite Mandala uses overlay crochet with brioche look.
The pattern contains lots of progress pictures to show stitch placement and is much easier to crochet than it might look. Every round is worked with one color, and yarn is changed at the beginning of every new round. There is no yarn cutting and no ends to weave. After every round, the yarn is brought up to the next rounds on the wrong side, so there are small floats of yarn at the mandala’s back.
The pattern is written in English with US terms and Dutch.
Level: Intermediate (front post stitches, working in back and front loops)
Size: finished mandala is approx. 74cm/29” across after blocking, measured from tip to tip.
