This baby or lap blanket is made in 2 colours to a simple design, which is designed to show you how to ‘join motifs as you go’. It is ideal for someone fairly new to crochet who wants to improve their granny square techniques.
The finished blanket is approx. 75 cm (30”) square.
You will need:
4ply/fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn, approx. 700m of main colour and 350m of contrast colour.
I used Drops Baby Merino, 100% Merino, 50g/175m per ball - 4 balls of Light Grey (55) and 2 balls of Light Sky Blue (24)
3.0mm (US D/3) crochet hook
Tapestry needle
4 Stitch markers
