A few notes about this hat:
#1 handspun and hand dyed yarn are THE cat’s pajamas and if you can get your hands on some, do it NOW
#2 The handspun mohair used in this pattern was bought this summer at a farmer’s market while on a family vacation on Orcas Island. Warm Valley Orchards makes a variety of handspun/dyed yarns (No sponsorship, I just love their stuff & buying local).
#3 I have used Knit Picks’ Capra DK a few times and just recently realized than Capra means Goat in Italian…the yarn is part cashmere, cashmere is goat…Mind blown.
