Just choose two of your favorite colors and use the lighter one as main color. Begin with straight two-color brioche knitting for the brim. Then pattern starts slowly with two blossoms, one in front and one in back. Then pattern is growing like a flowering plant with four and finally six blossoms all around the hat. Crown shaping is achieved by continuing the pattern while omitting increases. Lines of straight brioche form the background to accentuate the shaping. I must admit, you will need some patience and you have to count stitches, but it´s worth it.
The GlamoRose hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished hat over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown. Follow the alternative simpler decrease directions for br4stdec, without using a cable needle – you will enjoy it.
Directions are given for one size, only by changing needle size and gauge you can knit a smaller or larger size.
