When I think of a pattern name for my projects, I sometimes take a closer look at the stitch pattern I am using and turn on my imagination… In this slipover, I see mountain peaks which is GIPFEL in German.
The slipover isworked seamlessly from the top down. You start with the twisted ribbing on the neckband and continue with saddle shoulders and neck shaping. After that, the back and the front are worked separately and joined together at the underarms. Armhole bands are worked last. Split hem is another elegant detail to the slipover.
The range of ease across the sizes is 5-9.5 cm/2.5-3.75". The picture shows size 3 with 6.5 cm/2.5” of positive ease.
