Get Cosy socks are designed to warm your toes when it’s cold outside. With plenty of easy-to-knit surface texture and different stitch patterns these socks knit up quickly in DK-weight yarn. Choose alpaca yarn for a cosy pair of lounging or sleeping socks or wool-nylon mix for a more hard-wearing pair.
Get Cosy are knit in the round, top-down, with an eye-of-partridge heel-flap and gusset.
Notes: Instructions are given for knitting with 5 dpns, but the pattern can be knit with circular needles as well.
You will need approx. 180-200 m / 200-220 y of DK weight yarn. The sample was knit using Eden Cottage Yarns Whitfell DK (100% alpaca) in Misty Woods. An alternative yarn is suggested below.
