Questions on the pattern? PM me - I'll answer any questions. A cap for Geometry lovers! The openwork square top of this Renaissance style hat morphs into a circular mini cable ribbed band. Hat is worked top-down. Can be blocked flat to be more like a square tam, or blocked round to be puffy.
The larger tam was made with sz. 8 needles, the smaller with sz. 7 needles.
This has been my favorite hat of the winter - I have been wearing this blue one around for the last few weeks. Doesn't crush my short curly hair, and it's just fun!
Great for Medieval, Renaissance or SCA outfits!
