This cowl is worked flat in a gentle ripple pattern. The basic pattern uses 2 contrasting colours and is joined with a raised slip stitch finish providing a focus to the join.
As made it can be hooked up in a couple of evenings, but it could be made to any length using more yarn and varied using different colour combinations and using the raised join at each colour change. A description of one possible variation is included in the pattern. It would be a great stash buster, capable of using up small quantities of double knit or worsted yarn. Or use a different weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size.
Finished size as made is 60cm (24”) around by 17.5cm (7”) deep, but it can be made to any size.
