Knit your own magical duo this Halloween. This easy-to-follow knitting pattern includes both a pocket-sized wizard in his tall pointed hat (with staff) and his toad companion. The finished wizard measures approx. 22cm / 8.6in to the top of his hat.

Materials Needed

Small amounts of chunky-weight yarn (sample uses Stylecraft Special Chunky, Paintbox Simply Chunky & King Cole Big Value Chunky – but any chunky yarn works)

Pair of 4.5mm knitting needles

Toy stuffing

Two pairs of 6mm black safety eyes (or you can embroider the eyes if the toys are for a small child)

Scraps of felt, cotton, sewing needles, and a little black DK yarn for toad’s mouth
