This lovely stole is a play on gauge, by creating space between stitches using yarn overs. The results create a flowing curve through the sections of mesh lace and stocking stitch. The graphic simplicity of the lace pattern would make an ideal canvas for showcasing variegated yarns.
Yarn: Posh yarn Gretchen Lace, 100g = 800m / 875yds, 1 skein. Or substitute with 800m / 875yds lace weight yarn. I would recommend choosing yarn that will block well, with good drape.
Techniques: I-cord cast on and cast off, reading charts, lace knitting.
