Forest Fairy - Women's Sweater

‘’Forest Fairy’’ is an Edwardian style sweater inspired in beautiful nature - with slightly puffy, rouched shoulders and bishop sleeves with long cuffs. It’s knitted seamlessly, bottom up and in the round until you reach the underarms, where you start knitting the front and the back flat.

The sleeves are also knitted in the round until the underarms, then the shoulder caps are knitted flat whilst doing the decreases at the beginning of each row.

If knitting with the recommended yarn, bear in mind that a wool and cotton blend isn’t as elastic as 100% wool, so your sweater won’t be form fitting. It was designed to sit loosely on the body, so if you don’t want that, pick a more suitable yarn in the same weight.

Blocking will make the sweater slightly bigger, that’s another thing to remember when choosing your size depending on the fit you want.

The gauge is 26x32 sts in a 10x10 cm blocked square, you can downsize needles to meet the gauge.
