‘Fluff it’ is a lightweight, vertically ribbed crochet sweater made from fluffy mohair or suri alpaca yarns. With a relaxed fit and shallow, gentle v-neck, this quick and simple crochet pullover is constructed from just two panels, making it easy to customise for different body and sleeve lengths.
This is a fairly basic crochet sweater pattern, made in just two pieces. You will be crocheting in rows with simple increases and decreases and making post stitches.
You will need an 8mm crochet hook and approximately 630(675, 775, 820, 880, 990, 1050, 1150, 1250)m of fingering weight suri alpaca fluff OR the same amount of each of two strands of laceweight kid silk mohair held double (or equivalent yarn and hook which meet gauge). If you are holding yarns double, you may want to add an extra 5% allowance as sometimes this can increase the meterage required.
The pattern is written in English using standard US crochet terms.
