A coaster and bookmark set, perfect to treat yourself or others with as a little gift. The two patterns are included in this PDF so you can make either a set of coasters, some bookmarks or both! This pattern uses DK yarn (Light worsted / 8ply) and a 4mm (G-6) hook. I have used Women's Institue yarn in the pictures shown but Stylecraft DK would work well too. You can use the colours suggested or pick your own combinations for this project. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms with US equivalents listed in the abbreviation section.
I made up this pattern as a gift for my Mum as she loves reading and is very partial to settling down to read in a comfy chair with a cup of tea. A finished coaster and bookmark will fit nicely in a card if you want to send someone a little something extra special along with your greetings message.
