Construction notes
The beret is worked from the top center down to the lower ribbing, allowing you to try it on as you go if you wish to adjust the fit or if your gauge differs slightly from the pattern. It is worked entirely in the round, always on the right side.

In a 10x10 cm (4x4 in) gauge you should have 27 sts and 36 rounds worked in the round in lace pattern.
