The perfect summer sweater, this raglan is easy to knit and wear. A yarn with a high silk content gives beautiful drape to the fun mesh pattern.
This lightweight sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. Sleeves are knit first then joined to the body at the yoke. The scoop neck is shaped using a series of bind offs and decreases. A bind off along the back neckline and shoulders is worked to provide stability. The collar is picked up and knit on.
Guage 32 sts x 40 rows = 4” [10 cm] in 2x2 ribbing on smaller needles 28 sts x 38 rows = 4” [10 cm] in mesh pattern on larger needles
