This is a nice slip stitch design, and I chose the colors to represent flames in a bed of ash. Would also look intriguing with other color combinations. Cowl is long enough to wrap twice nicely around neck for extra coziness.
Measures 58"/146cm in circumference, and is 7.5"/19cm deep. Gauge: 9.5 sts and 16 rows to 2" on seed stitch. You will need 2 skeins of the dark grey #900, and 1 skein of the variegated #113. I'm told I am a tight knitter, so please do gauge to ensure you don't run out of yarn and to maintain the above measurements.
I used a 32" circular needle, but you can go shorter if you're comfortable with your stitches bunched up on the needle cable.
