About the Design I love how these colors work together, as if the Natural color stitches are snowflakes falling in an early spring day, landing on the burgeoning color of the garden.
Colorwork is a great way to up those small leftover amounts of yarn, creating a happy tea cozy which will brighten every pot of tea, no matter the season!
Materials: Oddments of various Cascade Yarns were used totaling 69 / 98 gr including the pompom = approx 10 / 15 gr each of 6 colors with an extra 10 g MC for each pompom
**Actual yarns and colors used: (MC) Cascade Ecological: #8010 Ecru, **(A) Cascade 220: #9469Hot Pink, held double (or use 1 strand Eco #8456 Carmine Rose), (B) Eco+ #0507 Lipstick, **(C) Eco+ #7098 Merlot, (D) Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca Bulky: #581 Turtle (or use Eco+ #2452 Turtle), (E) **Eco+, #2749 Orange
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st and 19 sts and 22 rows = 4″ over stranded patt with size 8 ndls. To save time, take time to check gauge.
