Crochet first in 100% lamb's wool (not superwash or wool blend) yarn, then do the felting process in a washing machine. Hot water, detergent, and agitation (with tennis balls, rubber flip flops, and/or jeans tossed in) will cause stitches to shrink and form a solid fabric to shape and let dry. Easy to follow, user-friendly format. Stitches: ch, sc, slst. Abbreviation key with descriptions and instructions for felting, included.
