I have a number of crafty obsessions. Two of my favorites are knitting and weaving. This fun project combines my favorites with technique and appearance.
While the fabric may look complicated, Entrelac is merely a combination of knits and purls that yield a fabulous faux basket "weave". I have written this pattern with step by step instructions and diagrams to make it easier for the first time entrelac knitter to enjoy this project!
Entrelac can be knit with many colors, but I find it most intriguing when I keep it simple and select a pretty self striping or patterning yarn.
