Eleusis Cardigan is worked from the bottom up, with a mirrored lace detail in front and on the sleeves, and a wider lace panel in the back. The name Eleusis is inspired by the colorway, Persephone; Eleusis is the principle city where Persephone was worshipped.

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Damsel (100% Superwash merino wool, 335 yards/4 ounces) 2(2, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins or approximately 800(1000, 1100, 1250, 1400, 1550) yards. Sample worked in Persephone. Or, you may use any comparable sport weight yarn.
Needles:
US #6/4.5mm circular needle, 32 inches; dpns or circs to knit small circumferences in the round.
Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch.
