Easter treat baskets

These treat baskets are the perfect size for a Chocolate Orange or any other treat you may wish to put in the basket, because not everyone likes chocolate. And after the treats are gone they can be used for storage after all these aren’t just for Easter.

Gauge isn’t important, your work just needs to be compact so that stuffing doesn’t show through.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Needles UK No 10 (3.25mm) US 3

Tapestry/Darning needle for sewing up

Toy stuffing

12mm safety eyes

Circle of cardboard for base of basket (optional)

SUGGESTED COLOURS:

20g main colour

5g for chick beak and feet (second colour)

Length of pink for bunny nose

Any DK/8ply yarn and colour combinations can be used.
