Crochet pattern for a blanket and cushion inspired by the duneflowers and the amazing nature at Texel, one of the Dutch ‘Waddeneilanden’.
Yarn : Texeler Scheep Wool thick (Texelse Schapenwol dik), 1 skein = 100g = 180m Colours used : White (Brandingwit), Shell-Grey (Schelpengrijs), Slufter-Grey (Sluftergrijs) and Dark Brown (Boetenbruin).
Texelse Schapenwol is available in 3 thicknesses : thin, medium and thick. An alternative yarn is suggested below. Amounts given are enough for both blanket and cushion, you can adjust amounts to suit your prefered colour scheme.
The blanket and cushion are made of duneflower motifs joined-as-you. Alternating colours and choosing 1 colour for the motif edgings makes this a stylish and harmonious accessory for your home.
Fully written pattern, with lots of charts added as well. The pattern is tested.
