CONSTRUCTION:

The dress is worked top-down in back-and-forth rows. It has an open back and is fastened with sew-on snaps.

MATERIALS:

Sock-weight yarn, e.g. Alize Angora Gold (20% wool, 80% acrylic), 550 m / 100 g (601 yds / 3.5 oz)

or a similar yarn — approx. 25 g (≈140 m / 160 yds) of the main color (A) and 5 g (≈30 m / 35 yds) of the contrasting color (B) for the lower ruffle

• 3 - 4 sew-on snaps (5–6 mm)

• Some waste yarn or two large stitch holders

TOOLS:

• Needles 2 mm (US 0)

• Double-pointed needles (DPNs) 2 mm – for sleeves

• 4–5 stitch markers

YARDAGE: 25 g (≈140 m / 160 yds) of the main color (A) and 5 g (≈30 m / 35 yds) of the contrasting color (B) for the lower ruffle
