Dreamer’s Path is worked in the immensely popular and addictive overlay mosaic crochet style. Each row is worked in only one color of yarn. Odd rows use main color (MC) yarn and even rows use contrast color (CC) yarn.
Yarn: dk weight (light, category 3). The sample wrap used Rowan Handknit Cotton yarn, 11 balls Ice Water (MC) and 7 balls Atlantic (CC).
You will need about 1,012 yards (935 m) of main color yarn (MC) that forms the raised zig-zag pattern and about 644 yards (595 m) of contrast color yarn (CC) that forms the darker background.
