With its engaging hybrid construction and unusual border, Dragonfruit is an adventure of a shawl. Dragonfruit’s three textured panels and intricate edging pack a visual punch, whether made in solid, gradient, variegated, or slow-color-change yarn. Note that the original, pictured Dragonfruit was made in Jazz Handz Fusion Fiber yarn, but beautiful projects have been made from Drops Delight and many other yarns, including lace and sport weight. Currently on sale for Indie June!

Note: Dislike slip stitch? Every slip stitch in the pattern can be replaced by a single crochet!
Construction: Dragonfruit is worked in 3 sections. Section I is worked from the bottom up, then the work is turned. The other sections and the edging are worked from the top down.
