The black cats strike back again!
I finally came round to publish this great double knitting scarf pattern!
Welcome back my black cats!
The sitting black cat looking over its shoulder and a smaller cat trying to catch a butterfly decorate the striped scarf.
A friend of mine has already asked me if I would sell it :-)
My version is knitted completely with 4-ply sock yarn in black and green. I used Opal uni solid.
But you can use any sock yarn you have in stock or Acrylic yarn of similar weight.
You can even use thicker yarn as gauge is not important. Then the scarf will turn out bigger, and wider or smaller according to your choice.
By adding additional stripes you could also make a blanket from it.
An introduction to double knitting and the two - color cast-on is also included in the pattern.
I needed about 150 g of each color of 4-ply sock yarn.
