Dolores was inspired by Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter books. Even though Dolores Umbridge is a tea drinking evil character she wear's pink fluffy cardi's and love kittens :-)
Dolores is a lovely light crochet cardigan with graduated lace effect down the body and sleeves.
Please note - the drape and garment blocking growth may alter with a different yarn. It is made using block motifs – solid square, lace square and partial square. The partial square is made by missing one or more sides on the last round of the motif to give an open effect at the edges.
Sizes The pattern is written in 2 sizes – small/medium for up to 38 inch chest and large for up to 48 inch chest.
The Dolores cardi was featured as a pattern in Inside Crochet magazine December 2013.
