Dolly Mixtures

This pattern uses 4ply sock yarn to create a light but cosy hat and scarf set for children. The knit/purl pattern used creates a concertina effect with little air pockets to add extra insulation without bulk- hence the high row count on the gauge. The sample shows off the pooling of a variegated, artisan dyed yarn but the pattern would work equally well with a solid or semi-solid example.
