Desert Sunrise

These soft, gorgeous hues are beautifully sophisticated and were inspired by shades of mesas and plateaus in the Southwest. Between color & fiber the yarn was just perfect for a soft pullover with a delicate, feminine vibe to wear with a tank or tee underneath when there’s a little chill in the air.

Desert Sunrise features intricate diamonds around the body, accented by a contrasting hem and cuff detail. Besides that, it boasts seamless construction, a lot of soothing stockinette and an easy, slouchy silhouette when worn. I found it to be a deeply satisfying knit. The classic shape and smooth stitches show off the subtle textured combination of silk, cotton, and merino that makes up this unique fiber.

The sweater and sleeves are knit in the round, from the bottom up and joined. The raglan yoke is then worked seamlessly to the top, and a few short rows make up the neckline shaping.
