Denis the Felted Duck

This adorable duck stacks up at 11 inches tall! Denis is a fantastic beginning project for felting: it's so easy! You crochet the pieces from a wool yarn, and then toss them in the washing machine, and magic happens! This project is crocheted holding two strands of yarn together and a big hook, so it works up fast. And because this duck is felted, it's very durable and huggable. Denis measures 11 inches tall when completed.

To complete this pattern, you will need:
* size L (8 mm) crochet hook
* 2 colors of worsted weight 100% wool yarn: white (440 yards) and yellow (less than 100 yards)
* two 18mm brown animal eyes
* polyester stuffing
* sewing needle
* white sewing thread
