I love all animals! And I love dogs! And I sure do love dachshunds!
And you will love this cute little fellow, too, wagging his tail and having this cute dachshund look.
The beanie has a two-colored (= corrugated) ribbing, followed by a dog paw border pattern, that surrounds the dachshunds.
There is also a little butterfly in front of the dachshund. As he isn't chasing it (or he might not have seen it by now ;-) he is a calm and cute little fellow.
Otherwise the beanie is plain colored. It can be made longer by adding additional one color rounds at the bottom and at the top before the decreases.
It is completely knitted with 4-ply sock yarn leftovers.
You need 4-ply sock yarn in the following colors:

25 g in dark green,
20 g in brown,
10 g in black,
10 g in lighter brown (it should be clearly distinguishable from the brown),
25 g in off-white (yardage 209 -210 meters/50 g).
