Crossing Paths

We all take many paths in life, whether literal paths through town or country or paths we take through living. Either way along each path we meet many people who will touch our lives in so many different ways; subtle changes or huge impacts, some that know it and some that are totally oblivious to the effect they have on us. Our paths are sometimes parallel, sometimes they twist and turn and often they cross.

Crossing Paths is a top down crescent shaped shawl influenced by the paths we take, the people we meet and the sparkle they add to our lives. Of course, all paths lead to home and the lace border consists of large holes, stitch explosions and beading which makes me think of the people we have lost, the new additions to our families, new friends and that life sparkles through rain and shine.

It is amazing how many people have touched our lives when you really think about it. I am happy that our paths have crossed and hope you enjoy knitting Crossing Paths.
