Enjoy wearing your handmade corsage on a favourite cardigan or on the lapel of a spring jacket or winter coat. Use it as a scarf pin or attach it to a headband or bag - wear it, and love it, however you like, or give it away as the perfect handmade gift.
The corsage can be made using small amounts of any DK yarn so is perfect for using up oddments from your stash. You will need 3 colours, Yarn A (for the petals) approx. 10g, Yarn B (for the leaves) approx. 4g, and a scrap of Yarn C for the centre. You will also need a brooch back, a small amount of felt in a complimentary colour to the petals and a needle and thread.
Stitches used in the pattern include, slip stitch (ss),double crochet (dc), treble (tr), double treble (dtr) and triple treble (trtr). Separate instructions are provided on how to make a dtr and trtr. This pattern also uses a standing double crochet stitch, full instructions are provided for this also.
