The Story Behind Happy Hops

I love reading and coming up with my own stories, which is why I wrote the book Who Wants Happy Hops’s Toothbrush?. The story follows a little bunny named Happy Hops who doesn’t want to brush his teeth because it tickles. He comes up with a clever idea to give away his toothbrush to avoid using it, but things take some unexpected twists along the way. Eventually, Happy Hops finds himself without the toothbrush, but he certainly doesn’t feel happy about it.

I thought it would be a fun idea to crochet a Happy Hops bunny so that kids who read the story could hold the magic of it in their hands. It’s a way to bring the story to life and create a physical connection to the character.
