Every holiday season I try to knit hats for my older brother (the only one in my family who really wears them). This year I was extremely pressed for time and threw this one together at the last minute. I based this square-top hat on my Jacques Cousteau shawl and it turned out great, so much so that I also knit one for my brother-in-law (little brother got a different hat, pattern to follow soon). Only problem is that I gifted them off before I got decent photos... I've only got the swatch photo you see in the pattern picture and a really bad "selfie" of the brother-in-law version taken from my phone. So, a contest it is! Details here...
