Color Me Pretty’ top is my second design in the series of fun Fair Isle garments that I have been lately making for Maya.
The top is worked entirely in the round from top down and has an A-line shape; the lower section features a colorwork design. Since children significantly vary in height, the top’s length is easily customizable.
SIZES:
- 12m -18m: 20"/48.5 cm
- 24m-3T: 22"/56 cm
- 4-5T: 23.5"/60 cm
- 6-7: 25"/ 63.5 cm 8: 26"/ 66 cm
- 10: 27"/ 68.5 cm
- 12: 29"/ 73.5 cm
- 14: 31"/76 cm
MATERIALS:
MC: Cascade yarns 220 Superwash [100% wool; 220 yds/201 m per 100 g skein]; color: 815;
- Short Sleeves: 2[2, 3, 3], [3, 3, 4, 4] skeins;
- Long Sleeves: 2[3, 3, 4], [4, 4, 5, 5] skeins.
Note on CC: you will need as little as 4-10 gr of each color.
CC: 50-150 yards.
Notions required:
- Crochet hook US 4/ 3.5 mm (optional)

- 4 stitch markers color B
- Darning needle
