Coast and Castles MKAL

Inspiration

It is almost impossible to live in or near Conwy and not be inspired by the amazing views and feel of the place.

Ewe Felty Thing has wanted to open in Conwy for around 5 years, and we are so excited to now be able to call it our home! This MKAL is inspired by the nature of this beautiful area and is focused on the two main aspects: Coast and Castles.

How it works

MKAL stands for Mystery Knit Along. This means that when you are knitting, you never know what the next section will look like, and the finished look of the project won’t be revealed until the end.

This project will be a blanket consisting of 63 different squares, each measuring 10" or 25.5cm once blocked. This will give you a final blanket of around 70 x 90" or approximately 180cm x 230cm. As such, this blanket will be large enough to lay over a king-size bed, a large sofa, or to cocoon yourself and others in. You can, however, choose to make your blanket smaller by using fewer squares.
